Vinyl chloride monomer vapours are uninhibited and may form polymers in vents or flame arresters of storage tanks, resulting in blockage of vents.

Use non-sparking handtools.

In case of fire: keep cylinder cool by spraying with water.
Combat fire from a sheltered position.

Contains inhibitors (e.g. phenol).
Depending on the degree of exposure, periodic medical examination is indicated.
The odour warning when the exposure limit value is exceeded is insufficient.
Do NOT use in the vicinity of a fire or a hot surface, or during welding.
